Default The Chapter that Never Was / The Missing Chapter in the Book

Hi, I have read in the PC gamer, that Chapter 4 was cancelled so that means they were making Chapter Four but they cancelled it. So will Anet think of bringing back Chapter 4 while we wait for GW2 or There was really no CH4 and they stop of thinking of making it?

~Please if you have any Know-abouts about this Topic Post freely^^.

If you had read it more thoroughly, it said that Chapter 4 was cancelled, BUT there will be an EXPANSION (not a chapter!) coming, namely GW:EN.

That's all there is to be known, stop wondering about stuff that just won't come, wait for GW:EN, and let them focus on GW2.. though I do hope they'll implement Sorrow's Furnace-y updates every now and then...

Yeah they stoped making chapter 4 and there will be no more chapter for gw. Personally I think part of GW:EN is originally intended as CH4 but halfway or less in the making, Anet decided to cancell it.

A new Sorrow's Furnace type update would be great, one each in Cantha and Elona would be cool. Or maybe something involving Mursaat? ^^

yes Chapter 4 was cancelled and reformed as the expansion

chapter 4 was originally intended to be the start of a new story arch, so ANet decided to start it in GW2 with the new engine and upgrades instead, which I thinks a much better idea personally

According to Jeff Strain in the Nightfall PCGamer article, the three existing chapters are a full story arc, so any chapter 4 material was probably going to be something new anyway.

They should make an update that incorporates all of the chapters into one crazy big dungeon area.

It's a huge underground zone that has bits and pieces from all 3 chapters.

Maybe some rift opens up near Lion's Arch, Kaineng Center, and Kodash Bazaar that connects the three lands to a massive underground network that holds creatures from all 3 campaigns, guarding some massive new multi-class boss that has some ridiculous greens or other rares.

There could be some Afflicted Charr, Outcasts from the Jade Sea, Plant-type monsters from Elona, and maybe even some Wurms or other evil monsters that have massive disrupting abilities to throw an easy difficulty spike in smaller fights.

I'm just throwing this out but it would be kind of a fun idea to put everything together as a culmination of what Guild Wars was and currently is from all of the chapters, since there won't be any further expansion of the GW Universe (until GW2)

You mean GW:EN? That is basically what the expansion is going to do (but no afflicted charr, what are you, high?), at least with the dungeons connecting the three campaigns.

I personally think SF is just the elite mission for tyria, although its not specifically called an elite and many of the drops are not as comparable to the deep, urgoz, or DoA
